๐Ÿ’ณ 1) Reservation & Security Deposit

  • A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your date and crew.
  • This is not an extra fee and is applied toward your final invoice.
  • The deposit reserves labor, routing, scheduling, and preparation time.
  • If you cancel, reschedule, or are not ready at the scheduled time, the deposit is forfeited.

๐Ÿ’ฒ 2) Pricing Models

We use multiple pricing models depending on job type, materials, access, time, and distance:

  • Hourly โ€“ commonly used for moving, labor jobs, large cleanouts, and time-based projects.
  • Flat / Load-Based โ€“ commonly used for standard junk removal based on truck space.
  • Weight-Based โ€“ may be used when weight better reflects labor, distance, load density, or disposal costs.

We reserve the right to select the most accurate pricing model for each job.

โš–๏ธ Weight-Based Pricing (Moving + Junk Removal)

Puget Sound Pro Moving LLC may use weight-based pricing for certain jobs where weight is the most accurate way to price the work. Weight-based pricing can apply to both moving and junk removal depending on job type, distance, load density, and disposal requirements.

Moving โ€” When Weight-Based May Apply

  • Long-distance moves (in-state or out-of-state)
  • Commercial relocations
  • High-volume moves (large households, storage transfers, warehouse-style moves)
  • Dense shipments (books, equipment, safes, packed storage units, etc.)
  • When weight better reflects labor, truck capacity, and distance involved

Junk Removal โ€” When Weight-Based May Apply

  • Dense/heavy debris loads (construction debris, concrete, dirt, roofing, appliances, etc.)
  • Loads where dump fees and weight charges significantly impact the final price
  • Commercial cleanouts or material-dense removals

Important: Weight-based pricing is not automatically applied. It may be used as an alternative and comparison model when hourly or volume-only pricing would not accurately reflect the job. Final pricing may change based on actual measured weight/volume, access conditions, and disposal requirements.

Estimated Weight Rate (when used): $0.60 โ€“ $0.80 per pound (varies by job)

โณ 3) Minimums & Time Billing

  • Standard jobs: 3-hour minimum
  • Some jobs: 5-hour minimum (you will be notified)
  • Time is billed from our office to your location and back to our office
  • Delays due to access issues remain billable

๐Ÿšš 4) Travel, Fuel & Mileage

  • All jobs are billed from office โ†’ job โ†’ back to office โ€” no exceptions.
  • Additional charges may apply for fuel/gas, long-distance travel, mileage, out-of-area routes.

๐Ÿ  5) Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide clear access, parking, gate codes, and elevators
  • Secure pets and children
  • Mark fragile/high-value items
  • Ensure pathways are safe and clear

๐Ÿชœ 6) Stairs, Long Carries & Heavy Items

  • Stairs, long distances, tight turns, and specialty items may increase time and cost.
  • Disassembly/reassembly is billable unless agreed in writing.

๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ 7) Junk Removal Restrictions

  • We may refuse hazardous materials, chemicals, fuels/oils, medical waste, biohazards, or illegal items.
  • Junk removal pricing is based on volume + weight + material type; disposal requirements may affect price.

๐Ÿงพ 8) Right to Adjust Pricing

Final pricing may change if the job differs from the information provided (hidden items, heavier materials, added labor, longer time, access issues, or different item types/disposal requirements).

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 9) Damage & Liability

  • Pre-existing damage must be disclosed.
  • We are not responsible for structural weaknesses or customer-packed boxes.
  • We are not liable for third-party building restrictions (elevators, time windows, rules, etc.).

๐ŸŒง๏ธ 10) Weather & Force Majeure

Severe weather, road closures, disasters, or other uncontrollable events may cause delays or rescheduling.

๐Ÿ’ต 11) Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion.
  • Accepted: Cash, Zelle, Card (as confirmed).
  • Non-payment may result in collections or legal recovery where allowed.

๐Ÿ“œ 12) Agreement

By booking, submitting a request, or paying a deposit, the customer agrees to all terms above.
